Sorana Topa is a scenographer and multidisciplinary artist focused on bringing people closer to the arts through art therapy and raising awareness of the importance of art in small communities and families.
Her artistic journey officially began in 2009 as a set and costume designer. Since then, her work has evolved to show the profound impact scenography can have on different environments.
She finds it particularly interesting to work with unconventional spaces that are often not suitable for traditional theater to open up new perspectives for the audience. Her aim is to create spaces that evoke certain feelings and memories in the audience. To achieve this, she sometimes combines scenography with psychological concepts and supports the directing team in creating an immersive artistic experience that goes beyond the mere reflection of reality.
