A comedy by successful writers Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob
Death is never pleasant, but there are worse things than passing away peacefully at the age of 94. For example, a funeral service that gets completely out of hand. Gernot Steinfels, patriarch of a traditional German medium-sized company, has died, and his designated successor (60) is organizing the funeral for the company. But the text on the mourning ribbon causes intense irritation, and shortly before the ceremony, a heated debate erupts between the new boss and his employees, in which all the current questions, discussions, polemics, and hurt feelings surrounding the topics of sexism, gender, wokeness, and political correctness collide head-on. A microaggressive culture war, hilarious and revealing, as it is currently being played out throughout Germany.
